The vision of the Sacred Music Foundation (SMF) is to promote and preserve musical excellence in the creation, performance and study of sacred music, for the edification of the church and the worship of God. 

We endeavor to uphold the exquisite classical heritage and hymns of the church and to build on this heritage, embracing many other styles that represent the infinite God we serve. We want to have positive impact on the culture of the Christian church.

We will seek to identify and support Christian musicians who realize that they are called to use their gifts to spread the Word.  With proper financial support, such musicians can devote more of their professional time and talent to serving Christ and His church.

The primary goal of the Sacred Music Foundation is providing grants to musicians, and/or the churches who host them.  SMF will sponsor

concerts, commission new works, and support individual artists and

groups in the performance of sacred music.  Further, we will support

church and school music programs, including sponsoring educational workshops.  When possible, the foundation will contribute funds to non-profit organizations whose missions are compatible with our own.

The Sacred Music Foundation encourages the highest standards of excellence in the creation and performance of Christian music.  Our goal

is to offer superb training opportunities and inspirational performances that reveal the innate beauty and truly transforming power of sacred

music at its best.  From classical to modern, excellence is requisite.

The work of the Sacred Music Foundation crosses denominational lines within the Christian church and is national in scope.  Our hope is to enable as many people as possible to experience the message of the Gospel and to be led to Christ through the power and beauty of sacred music.

SMF also seeks to promote fellowship among musicians.  We understand we are part of a wonderful spiritual legacy.  We will work to foster a deep appreciation for our musical heritage so that future generations can enjoy it in all its richness.
